Visited the nest at about 9:30 AM and watched for about 45 minutes. Benjamin and Bob had been watching for an hour and said that a single adult (Pride) was incubating deep in nest all of the time and his mate was not in sight. He got up several times to change position and reach down into the nest but they did not see evidence of eaglets or feeding.
Suddenly the female (Jewel) flew in from the NW and exchanged incubation duties.
Jewel roosted on the supporting branch just to the right of the nest.
Pride stood up and prepared to depart.
She did not bring in any prey. Pride flew to roost in the pine just east of the nest.
